It blends all areas of your life into one: vocation, calling, community, faith. So many women in church planting feel like no one understands what they are going through. And they are right, most don’t.
Parakaleo’s leaders have been there before. They are ready to help women unpack current life issues through mentoring and coaching. Our leaders have watched women be released from a duty-driven obligation to perform as a “good pastor’s wife” to a desire-driven exploration of God’s unique calling for their lives. For some, this thrusts them more boldly into ministry. For others, this gives courage to be less active yet more focused.

PARAKALEO GROUPS
Parakaleo believes that the health, support, and training of spouses is essential to the health of the church, so the ministry of Parakaleo focuses on coming alongside women in church planting (and also women in other ministry roles) with care, connection, coaching and celebration.
Our groups provide a safe, relational space and practical tools to bring our hearts back to the gospel. We share issues we are currently facing and seek to help each other see Jesus, see ourselves and be curious about God’s story. Groups provide an experience of ongoing deep connection with trusted companions as well as just-in-time training and peer coaching.
